Camps Africa
Global Camps Africa (GCA), a U.S.
based not for profit organization, provides a camp
experience in a caring and educational environment
for children affected by the physical, psychological
and social impacts of family members with HIV/AIDS.
Often these beautiful children themselves are also
HIV positive. The camp provides an opportunity
to change prevailing attitudes towards AIDS by
teaching crucial life skills and self-respect,
and by building peer support systems. Most importantly,
the camp helps them change their attitudes towards
themselves and their community.

8pm (doors at 730)
Also accepting donations of new or gently worn
swim suits, sneakers, water bottles and baseball
caps as well as toiletries like hotel-size shampoos,
soaps, lotions, etc.
$15
minimum donation
(but more for these kids is greatly appreciated)
